California Gold Rush offers
authentic melodeon songs, miner's ditties, and Victorian Parlor
ballads. Our Songbook Teacher
Guide provides all you need to produce a musical show
scripted and performed by 4th grade students studying California
history. The Student Workbook adds first person
accounts and activities to broaden their
understanding.
The Drake Pageant, our Student-Teacher Guide combines history, maps, and activities with sea chanteys, Miwok songs for voice and flute, Elizabethan music for brass. These provide the basis for Middle School students to create a Living History performance of the first encounter between Drake and his crew with the Coast Miwok Indians at what is now Point Reyes.
